The Stockyards Ag Experience to Suspend Operations Due to COVID-19

March 12, 2020 (Sioux Falls, South Dakota) – The Stockyards Ag Experience Museum will be closed for the remainder of March 2020 in order to help slow the spread of COVID-19 (corona virus). The nature of our museum brings in travelers and people of all ages – especially kids and folks 60+. Paired with the interactive nature of our exhibits, we feel it is in the best interest of the public, that we close at this time.

“We are not making this decision out of fear, but rather as a community-minded step to help slow the spread of the virus,” said Abby Bischoff, Executive Director of the Stockyards Ag Experience. “We will work to bring more interactive ag learning on our online platforms over the next few weeks to continue our mission of connecting people to agriculture.”

The Stockyards Ag Experience will reassess our closure at the end of the month based on information and best practices in the visitor industry. We regret if this decision impacts your travel plans and hope we look forward to welcoming you to the Stockyards Ag Experience in the near future.
