April 30, 2019 – Sioux Falls, SD – Beginning May 1, the Stockyards Ag Experience will offer free admission for visitors. This change comes in conjunction with the beginning of the attraction’s summer hours.
“We are excited to offer free admission to the Stockyards Ag Experience so more people can experience our mission of connecting agriculture with our daily lives,” said Stockyards Ag Experience Executive Director, Abby Bischoff. “We know by removing the admission fee, it will allow families of all economic backgrounds to have access to this entertaining and interactive learning experience.”
Visitors will still be encouraged to leave a free will donation. Both exhibits in the historic horse barn at Falls Park – the history of the Sioux Falls Stockyards and the interactive Farm-to-Table exhibit – will be open to all visitors.
Bischoff continued, “Visitors to Falls Park have so much to explore as the area continues to develop. With the addition of Levitt at the Falls and Stensland Family Farms taking over management of the Falls Overlook Café, we know this move to free admission will give visitors even more reason to spend time in Falls Park and Downtown Sioux Falls.”
